My name is Leanne and I have known the Beats Bus guys since meeting them at the Big Malarkey event in the summer of 2021. We stumbled into their workshop with my then 9 year old son. I’m so glad we did.

My son ended up attending weekly sessions and became part of the Beats Bus Juniors. I’ve always been amazed at the amazing work the guys do so when asked to be Trustee for them I was honoured.

I’m currently employed as a Progress Mentor at Wilberforce 6th Form College where I deliver tutorial sessions to young people aged between 16-19. I’ve worked with young people now for over 12 years and love helping them to achieve their goals and move onto their step. Working alongside the Beats Bus team and helping them to work with young people is a great honour. I appreciate the work they did with my son and know how hard they work to reach as many young people as possible, so to be part of their new journey to success is really exciting.

I’m a music lover and it’s always been a massive part of our home. Our house is filled with musical instruments and vinyl and you never know what genre is going to get played next.

Music is in everything we do.

It’s my first time as a Trustee so I’m learning as we go along, but with a passion for music and young people, I’m eager to help them however I can.
